About Bloom Espresso Solutions

I’m Zach, owner of Bloom Espresso Solutions. I work directly with coffee shops to keep their espresso equipment running reliably and their coffee tasting its best through hands-on repair, preventative maintenance, and training.

About me

I started working in coffee equipment service in 2023 with Blue Jazz Coffee Roasters, where I gained hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial espresso machines and grinders, including Synesso machines and Mahlkönig grinders.

During that time, I worked with both coffee shops and office coffee systems, learning how different environments impact equipment performance and consistency. I’m grateful for the experience and relationships built there, which ultimately led me to start Bloom Espresso Solutions in 2025.

What I focus On Today

Today, my work goes beyond just fixing machines.

I focus on:

  • Diagnosing and solving the root causes of recurring issues

  • Preventing downtime through proper maintenance

  • Helping teams understand their equipment and get consistent results

Because a working machine isn’t enough—it needs to perform well every day.

Deep Dive: Coffee & Water

Over time, I’ve gone deep into the details that most shops overlook especially water chemistry, extraction, and equipment optimization. I’ve studied how grind size, water composition, and brew technique all interact to affect flavor and consistency, whether it’s espresso or pour-over. This allows me to help shops not only keep their equipment running—but get the best possible performance and flavor out of it.
